Hello Silo!

An Open Invitation

A few weeks ago, I wrote about the importance of silos. As progressives, we are often told that we spend too much time in our own silos. We are told that if we really want change to happen, the only way to do it is to leave our silo and do all we can to foster understanding by listening to those who disagree with us.

BUT. I actually think we suffer from not being in our silo often enough. I suspect many of us are lonely because we moved away from the core community where we first started this work, or members of our core community moved away. I suspect many of us are in red states or purple states, regularly surrounded by the people who disagree with us. I suspect many of us are still finding our place in the movement, and dont yet have a regular meeting, a regular group, a regular gathering to attend. I suspect many of our regular meeting places have disappeared- the college hosted lectures, the community workshops, the church sponsored (progressive) events have largely been abandoned. I suspect many of you are longing for a silo. I know I am.

And that's why every month, I host a virtual gathering for us... for those who need to comfort and clarity that comes with community.

Here is a short clip from our most recent gathering. You can see I am in low light and wrapped in a blanket- lol. This is not a class, not a workshop, not me trying to sell you a single thing. We bring our hearts and for an hour and half indulge in our own silo.

How does it work? Click the link below. Sign up for my patreon group (called Troublemakers). Join for any paid tier, and once a month you will receive an invite to our little silo.

The beauty of patreon is that there is no contract. You can cancel or pause anytime. So if you need a silo in November but dont need it in December- you are in complete control. We are here when you need; you've got an open invitation.
