FULL OF MYSELF

a new book by Austin Channing Brown

One Last Time (ish)

Tomorrow is the final night of the FULL OF MYSELF book tour, and even for this introvert I can tell you honestly that I'm still so excited about this one.

Sarah Aziza, a Palestinian American writer and author, will join me in conversation. Maybe like me, you are having a hard time feeling like anything is worth your energy while genocide (ahem paid for with our tax dollars) rages on. You are expected to fill out a spreadsheet, go to the meeting, and prep for the presentation while a genocide rages on. You are expected to make a nutritious dinner while police snatch folks from the streets. You are expected to go about your day while your heart breaks open for all the ways we are fighting for our lives right now.

I get it.

I see you.

I know what it is to feel torn.

And more than any other time I've been alive, I believe in making time for conversations like this that honor our full humanity, our full lives, our full selves.

If you are in the area, I hope to see you. If not, I hope you pick up the book and feel full.
