Hello Friend, I have a quick update I wanted to share with you. My summer schedule for Full of Myself has changed, and I’m no longer able to make it to every city I originally hoped to visit. Some previously announced in-person events are no longer moving forward. I’m deeply sorry for the disappointment this may cause, especially if you made plans to attend. This was not the outcome I hoped for, and it was not a decision I made lightly. The impacted venues/bookstores have been contacted directly. And I'd like to acknowledge their extension of grace and understanding. Independent bookstores are vital to our communities, and they are staffed by some of the most hopeful people I know. I’m still looking forward to gathering with readers in: Toledo, OH at Toledo School For the Arts on August 1st. Durham, NC at the Hayti Heritage Center on August 18th. St Paul, MN at Hamline Church on September 24th. and I hope there will be another opportunity to be with folks in the cities I can’t get to this time. The best thing about the work I get to do is be in community with you all. Thank you for your care, patience, understanding, and support. Austin |
